Afsat Communications through its flagship brand-iWay has proved again that it is the leading Vsat based broadband service provider in Africa.

During the Satcom Stars Africa Awards held on 8th April 2008 in Johannesburg South Africa, Afsat won The VSAT Operator Award for the best company of the year. The award was in recognition of iWay’s network across 26 countries, innovation and all round growth since inception.

This was the 11th year of the SatCom Africa conference and exhibition show, which is a key conference for the east, south and west of Africa, but the first year for the SatCom Africa Stars awards.
